Donald Trump began his second term as President of the United States by signing an extensive series of executive orders, prioritizing the reversal of policies implemented by the Joe Biden administration. During events held at the Capital One Arena and the White House, Trump formalized measures addressing topics such as immigration, climate change, the economy, environmental regulations, and federal governance.
Among the most notable actions are the withdrawal of the U.S. from the Paris Agreement, a move he argues will save approximately one trillion dollars, and the revocation of policies related to racial equity, gender inclusion, and combating climate change. Trump also overturned the order allowing transgender military personnel to serve openly and froze pending regulations for further review.
Other initiatives include strict restrictions on birthright citizenship, efforts to combat illegal immigration and drug cartels, and incentives for domestic economic growth. Trump also eliminated additional ethical requirements for political appointees and halted sanctions against Israeli settlers in the West Bank. He reaffirmed his intention to reverse what he called the "destructive and radical actions" of the Biden administration, solidifying the conservative agenda of his presidency.
